An Italian picture, c. 1360, showing a wide variety of tent constructions.
Note, for example, the dagged valence on one, the painted arches on another,
the mix of round and rectangular pavilions, the clear presence of horses
inside several of the tents, and the complete absence of visible guy-ropes.
