The Bronze Doors of Castel Nuovo

Thanks to Chris Larsson, who took these pictures and informed me about them.

The doors are on the Castel Nuovo in Naples, Italy. The doors were made in 1475 to chronicle the victory of Ferrante of Aragon over John of Anjou.

For more pictures, see Chris's own Web page. There are some good details showing armored soldiers, hairstyles, trumpets hung with banners, cannons, and an oxcart (which Chris thinks is full of armor pieces).
